Primary Talk Idea

So my son has to give a talk on Sunday, his very first talk. I looked around trying to find something that went along with the theme for this week, but couldn’t really find anything. I found some, but they were too long (he’s only 4, there’s no way he would stand up there and give a long talk). 🙂
So, I came up with this little poem. I am going to find some pictures to go along with it, so he can have pictures to show for his talk.
I just wanted to share this in case some of you were ever in the same predicament.
-You could also use this as a handout for Sharing Time.
By: Sheena Perron
He fed the 5,000 with some fish & bread.
He healed the sick,
He calmed the sea,
He even raised the dead.

He didn’t care if others
Were sick or poor or lame.
He called to them and blessed them
He loved each one the same.

Now everyday I’m here on Earth,
I have a choice to make.
Am I going to follow Christ?
Or choose another way?

I want to be like Jesus,
It’s plain & simple.
So I will try to do my best
And follow His example.

Hope you like it. Click Here for the printable version. Thanks!!
