Yesterday I went school shopping with my 4 kids. My Mother-in-law, being the amazing lady she is, decided to go along and help me.
As we were eating lunch we started discussing this month’s VT message. We started talking about a ideas for a little gift that we could take to our sisters. We finally decided on lotion and/or band-aids. So, today I’m sharing just that!
We both really liked the quote from Sis. Barton about our covenants being able to strengthen, empower, and protect. Immediately we thought of Band-aids, but we wanted something else that the sisters would enjoy. We finally decided since it’s getting into Fall weather, we might use lotion to help ‘strengthen’ and ‘protect’ our hands.
.
After lunch we headed to our next stop, Target, and found these cute little bottles of lotion. We really liked that it had ‘healing’ on the front. You could talk a lot about the healing power of keeping our covenants.
.
We also found these cute little boxes ofย Hello Kitty band-aids! Since band-aids protect us…we thought they would make another cute addition to our Visiting Teaching handout.
Would you like to take your sisters lotion and band-aids along with my Visiting Teaching printable? You can print the main VT printable that I shared yesterday, HERE, and then print this small one I made for my lotion idea. Just click below to download!

Hi Sheena,
I would like to thank you for all your very creative ideas! It is a tremendous help for me with my calling as a primary counselor and as a Visiting Teacher. I always look forward them as a new month starts. I am from Cebu, Philippines and the girls of my 8-11 primary children even asked for extra band-aid copies last month.
All the best,
Catherine
