{Visiting Teaching} Powerade Visiting Teaching Tag

I shared my Visiting Teaching Printable on Monday, here. In my post I mentioned that I had the idea of using a quote from this month’s message and a bottle of Powerade to make a cute gift for your Visiting Teaching sisters.

I thought it was such a cute idea that I had to go ahead and create a tag.

I LOVE how they turned out. I’m so excited to give these to my sisters.

On the tag is the quote from Elder Ulisses Soares found in the August 2015 Visiting Teaching message.

I decided not only to attach my printable to a bottle of Powerade, but to make it a little cuter by adding a paper straw and some cute ribbon.

I found some paper straws on Amazon, HERE for a great price…plus Free Shipping (on certain colors)! There are several colors to choose from and comes in a pack of 24.

Here’s a pack of 24 Mint colored straws that would also work great. They’re $3.15 + Free Shipping! And if you’re looking for a bigger pack, like 125, take a look at THESE cute polka dot straw. They’re $5.92 + free shipping.

Would your VT sisters enjoy a great message and a refreshing treat? Then click the link below to print out my Powerade tags. Then grab a bottle of Powerade and a straw and ribbon and create your own.

Love this idea! I’m going visiting teaching today and bringing this with me. Thanks 🙂

    1. Thanks Heather! I’m so glad you like it. I hope your VT sister enjoys it as well. Thanks for the comment. 🙂

  2. Love how your VT handout and this go together. I’m so intrigued by paper straws by the way. I think they look so cute but I’m always hesitant to actually use it. Do you like them?

    1. Honestly, I think they’re more for looks. Haha I’ve used them and they work great, but they do get a little soggy after awhile. 🙂
I’ve seen them at craft stores, but they’re always pricey. I’ve purchased mine on Pick Your Plum or Amazon, they’re a lot cheaper.

  3. Ah, this is cute!!! 🙂 You make me want to be a more creative visiting teacher!

  4. Wow! I didn’t even catch his use of the word power so much. I love how this highlights that, it changes the quote entirely for me when I focus on that word!
