It’s June! That means it’s time for a new Visiting Teaching idea. Have you read the Visiting Teaching message for this month? If not, it is all about temple ordinances and covenants. Today I am sharing some great printables and gift ideas that you can use for your monthly visit. I hope you enjoy what I have created for you. Enjoy!

June 2016 Visiting Teaching Message Printables
As I was thinking of ideas for this month’s message this quote, from President Monson, came to mind:
“Always have the temple in your sights. Do nothing which will keep you from entering its doors and partaking of the sacred and eternal blessings there.”
Such a great quote, and I thought it went along great with this month’s message. As soon as I read the part about having the temple in your sights, I thought of sunglasses. It’s June, which means it is summer, which means everyone needs sunglasses! I picked up mine (pictured above) from the dollar store, but I know I have also seen inexpensive sunglasses at Wal-Mart and Target that would work perfect for this idea. Here’s a closer look at my sunglasses tag and the June 2016 Visiting Teaching bookmark.
I went with sunglasses for this idea, but you could use anything that has to do with eyes (mascara, sunglasses bag/holder, eye shadow, eye cream, etc.) or even those party favor glasses with no lenses. Once you have your item all you have to do is print out my tag, cut it, and attach it to your gift. Easy Peasy!

Make a Commit’ment’ to Attend the Temple!
If you’re not feeling the sunglasses theme, then here’s another option for you. 🙂 Since you’re the message is all about temples, why not encourage the sisters (and ourselves) to make attending the temple a commit‘ment’. And to make it even better…include a little treat to ‘sweeten’ the deal. 🙂
I created this cute tag and included this quote from the Visiting Teaching message:
“When men and women go to the temple, they are both endowed with the same power, which is priesthood power …” (M Russell Ballard).
Just print it out, cut it, and attach it to a package of Mentos and you’re good to go! {My daughters have been eying this package of Mentos, and ask me every 5 minutes if I am done with them. 🙂 }
.
The bookmark (pictured above) includes 2 quotes from the June 2016 Visiting Teaching Message, the ‘Additional Scriptures’, and the ‘Consider This’ question.
.
I love how the tags turned out, and am so excited to give these to the sisters I visit. Which one will you choose? 🙂

I hope you enjoy my printables, and are able to use them for your visits this month OR for yourself. I think they’d even make great YW Camp treats. I would love to hear what you think of the printable, and if you use them. Just leave me a comment letting me know.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

I LOVE this!! Thank you, Sheena! ♥
Thanks, Chrissy! I’m so glad you like it. 🙂
Hi Sheena,
I loved the glasses idea, so I grabbed them right after I saw your idea and made them up and VT is completed. They loved them and of course I did not take the credit…credit was given where credit is due, to a beautiful sister in Idaho that is very talented. I love getting your ideas and using them. I am so grateful for your talent, time and effort to share your thoughts and ideas. I am somewhat talented and can think of things, but right now it is the time that is an issue. Thanks again Sheena you are AWESOME 🙂
Becky
Becky, you are so sweet! I so appreciate your kind words and appreciation. I struggle with the ‘time’ thing too. There are so many ideas I have in my head, but don’t have the time to share them. Maybe one day, but for now, I’ll do what I can. 🙂 Thanks again.
There is no way I could make something like this!!! Thank you so much for doing this and sharing it, so we can bless those we visit teach!! I very much appreciate that you love sharing your talent!! What fun ideas!!!
You are very welcome, Su. Thank you for the sweet comment. ?
Thanks for your ideas, i will follow you, i’m from argentina, and in winter, but the mentos, are ok, for us. I’ll translate your tags, and give them, because we will go together next month, all district. To cordoba argentina temple, some sisters have to travel, several hours, for my branch only 2. So these will encourage sisiters to visit a prepare themselves to go, thanks a lot
I can’t figure out how to download the handouts, i have clicked on everything it says and then it takes me to a page where i have to search?
Sorry is there another way or am I missing something?
Hi Jessica! My download links are always near the bottom. I will email the file over, though, so you don’t have any other problems. 🙂
Any way to get the Picture of the temple in the hand out just saying Temple and Priesthood Preparedness? For the new program? I would love to blow this up and have at our meeting.
