General Conference ‘I Spy’: April 2017 Edition

One of my children’s favorite General Conference activity sheets is my General Conference I Spy sheets. I created these a couple years ago, and have tried to update them every General Conference. Today, I am sharing my General Conference I Spy activity sheets for the April 2016 session. Enjoy!!
You can find my updated General Conference I Spy Sheets, HERE!

General Conference I Spy Sheets

I originally created these fun sheets to go along with my ‘General Conference Sundae’ activity idea. But these sheets are great on their own as well! My children love trying to ‘spy’ the list of things on the sheets, and they get so excited when they find something. πŸ™‚

General Conference I Spy

First you will need to print out my General Conference ‘I Spy’ sheets (below).Β I have created 2 sheets for you to use. Just download and print. Here’s a closer look at one of the sheets.

LDS General Conference I Spy Sheet

When Conference begins have your children keep an eye out for the items listed on the sheets. When they ‘spy’ something, they check it off.

Some of the requirements have several things to spy…like:

“I spy 3 men singing.”

As they find each of the 3 men, they can check off the boxes.

I also included some ‘drawing’ tasks like:

Draw President Monson’s tie.

Draw a person giving a talk.

I love when my children take the time to draw as they listen to the Conference talks. It makes me feel that they are listening a little more. πŸ™‚

And of course, I included 6 apostles that they need to ‘spy’. I have included 2 of the new apostles for this sessions worksheet. Just have the children look for each of these apostles, and then check off the box below each picture. Once they have found the 3 on the sheet, they can check off the box beside the ‘I spy’ task sentence.

These sheets would also be great to print off and then make copies at church to hand out to Primary children in your Ward. I will be sharing a fun ‘General Conference Quiz’ page in a little bit that would go great with these sheets as well!

I hope you like my General Conference ‘I Spy’ sheets! Just click the link below to download!

I just want to thank you so much for your amazing talent & sharing it with all of us, but mostly me! I am NOT creative & am very grateful for you & others who are so willing to share your talents with us! I have used many of your suggestions for Visiting Teaching & my grandson! 4. Kristie

Hello, and thank you so much for the Conference I Spy, I just printed it for our primary. Just one thing to be aware of, the picture on the first page says Elder Nelson, it is actually Elder Oaks. I’ll make a simple revision, yours is much cuter!
    Thanks again,

    1. Oh no! Thanks for pointing that out, Kristie. When I create these there are so many things to look at that I usually make a mistake. I’m not sure if I just forgot to change the name from the previous picture that was there or I just had a ‘blonde’ moment. πŸ™‚ It is now fixed. Thanks so much.

When I went to download the file, it brings up two pages of the first page. (the 2nd page is your original one with Elder Oaks picture but with Elder Nelson’s name.) Do you have the 2nd page to download? Thanks so much! These are adorable! I’m planning on sharing with a few families I visit teach that have little ones. πŸ™‚

    1. Sorry about that Marcy. I have fixed the link and deleted the old files. πŸ™‚ Thanks for letting me know.

  6. Peggy

LOVE these! I was looking for something different this year for my two granddaughters. Thank you so much! I did notice that mine printed out with NELSON still under Elder Oaks’ picture – no worries, I just crossed it out and put Oaks there. They are going to love these new activity sheets.

    1. I’m so glad you like my ‘I Spy’ sheets. Sorry that the mistake still wasn’t corrected. I must have replaced the wrong file…but now it is fixed, promise! πŸ™‚ Hope your Granddaughters enjoy the sheets. Thanks for the comment.

    1. Thanks, Melissa. After reading your comment I realized I had 2 links to my printables. I was only changing the last link. Oh well. haha πŸ™‚

Are you going to post an October “I spy”? I was looking around to print things for my family for this weekend and came across this cute idea. I see in the comments you mentioned a revised fall version possibly coming out. πŸ™‚
    Thanks – Natalie

By chance will this be updated before April 2018 conference? I’d like to hand it out to my primary kids, but was hoping that spying President Monson’s tie could be edited.

    1. Yes, I will work on them today or tomorrow and share them. πŸ™‚ Thanks!
