4th Week Sharing Time Idea for September: My love for Jesus Christ grows when I study the scriptures.

Sorry I have been M.I.A. this past week and haven’t posted my idea for this Sharing Time. I promise I haven’t been lazy. 🙂 We’ve been fighting the stomach flu….so fun! And we also recently found out that I am pregnant! This will be our 3rd child and we are very excited. The only thing is this one is already so different. I haven’t had the normal morning sickness, I just feel nauseated all day. So, please bear with me these next few months. 🙂
Alright, as for my Sharing Time idea. I used an idea that I used from last year, just changed a few things so that it would fit this topic. I also included a really fun activity that I did last year that the children loved.
Scripture Cookies!
I hope this idea can be of help to some of you. I just kind of threw it together, so if you use it, but add a few changes, please share!
And again, I am so sorry that I am posting this so late, but I hope you understand. 🙂 I hope all of you have a great week!

I had quite a few people tell me they had trouble viewing last weeks sharing time, so I have decided to try another program for sharing my documents. Hope 3rd time’s a charm. 🙂 Take a look and let me know if it works. Thanks!!

  1. Well congratulations on baby. There is nothing like a new baby. I’m sorry for your sickness. I was sick with ALL three of mine. I feel your pain. It’t worth it in the end RIGHT!!

I just became 1st couselor in our primary and found your blog while searching for a sharing time idea. I used your idea last time I had sharing time too.

You have wonderful ideas and I am personaly grateful. Thank you for sharing them with the rest of us–who have NO IDEA what we are doing. You’re awesome.

  2. Congratulations on your soon to be addition! That’s exciting. My family has been battling some stomach bug this last week too. I can relate.

Thank you for your fabulous ideas. I have been using/modifying them for a couple months now. I will be alone this Sunday in Primary (first counselor and secretary are out of town and we have no President right now) so I’m thinking some cookies will really work out for me!

  3. Congratulations on your new soon to be addition! That’s exciting. My family has been battling a stomach bug too. I can relate.

Thank you for your fabulous ideas. I have been using/modifying them for a couple months now. I love your idea this week. I will be alone on Sunday since the first counselor and secretary are out of town and the President has not been replaced since she moved several weeks ago. I’m thinking some cookies will really work out well for me! Thanks.

The cookie idea is great, except that it’s fast Sunday. That is why I’m so curious about your other ideas. Thanks for all you do! You will be so blessed for helping so many leaders teach the children of tomorrow! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

  6. Thanks for the great ideas, especially as you are not feeling well! I’ve read several other ideas for this Sunday’s topic, and none of them seemed like a good fit for our group. Yours is what I needed–thank you!

    Hang in there and congratulations!

  7. Thanks for sharing your great ideas! And just know that you don’t owe any of us an apology for not having posted sooner!

    Congrats on your pregnancy!!

  8. Thanks so much! I’m planning on using the first part of the lesson for sharing time, and using the scripture cookie part for a primary quarterly activity! Congratulations on the pregnancy! I’m also pregnant with number 3!

  13. Congratulations on the baby news!

We used this lesson for our sharing time after our primary program. 🙂 Due to allergies and special dietary needs of our primary children, I made some basic adjustments to this recipe. You can find my gluten free, dairy free, soy free and nut free version here: http://andloveittoo.com/desserts/ranger-cookies-gluten-free-dairy-free-soy-free-nut-free/

I also offer suggestions to keep it egg free, if that is a concern in your group.

We had a blast doing this lesson! Thank you so much for the idea!
