September is right around the corner, which means many of you are preparing for your annual LDS Children’s Primary Program. I love that one Sunday of the year that we get to listen to the children sing and speak about what they learned throughout the year. There is such a special spirit during the Sacrament Meeting program. Last year I shared a program cover and some invites that many of you used. Today I finished up this year’s Primary Program Cover and Invites. I hope you like them!
I have 3 printables for you today! I have my ‘Save the Date’ cards, Primary Program Invitation, and a Primary Program Cover. I have created a fun ‘color’ version AND a black and white version. Just look for the links to download. 🙂
Primary Program ‘Save the Date’ Cards
Each Ward usually passes out Primary Program parts a few weeks in advance. Last year I shared some ‘Save the Date’ Primary Program cards that I thought would be cute to pass out along with their speaking parts. Here is a peek at this year’s ‘Save the Date’ Card.
I love the colors and the fun font. All you have to do is add your date, and you’re good to go! Re-size them and fit as many as you can to a sheet, and then print and cut!
I love the idea of letting the parents know when the program will be so that they can mark it on their calendars, and it’s always fun to do that with a cute handout. 🙂
To use my ‘Save the Date’ cards, just right click on the picture below and ‘Save’ the image. Then open it in Microsoft Word, Paint, Photoshop, etc. Add a text box with the appropriate date, then re-size and copy and paste until you have a full sheet of cards. Then print!
I also have a full sheet of cards (4 per sheet) that you can download and add your date to. You can download my sheet of cards HERE!
Primary Program Invitation
Some people like Primary Program Invitations so the children can invite neighbors, teachers, or friends to the program. I LOVE the idea! And what amazing little missionaries these children are. 🙂 Here is a look at what my invitations look like:
The invite that you will download will be blank, so just fill in the appropriate information, and then print them. The invitations are 4″ X 6″. You can print them at home or have them printed at Costco, Walgreens, or any other printing place.
To add your text, you will do the same thing as above. Just click on the image below and save. Then open it in any editing program and add your information using text boxes. 🙂
Once you have it all done, save it and print or send it to your favorite printing place.
Primary Program Cover
Last, but not least, we have my 2016 Primary Program Cover. Since this year’s theme is about scriptures, and many of you have been focusing on ‘Scripture Heroes’, I thought it would be fun to ask the children what their favorite scripture, scripture story, or scripture hero is. I thought it would be really fun to incorporate their answers into the program covers. 🙂 Here is an example:
The children’s answers will go on the back of the cover. This would be great for large primaries that aren’t able to give every child a speaking part in the program. Or you could create several different program covers, so that every child gets to have their favorite on the cover. Let’s say you have 32 children…you could create 4 different program covers so that each child gets to have their answer on one. Then just make a certain number of copies of each one so that you have enough for Sacrament Meeting. 🙂
Just right click and save the image below to save to your computer. Then add the appropriate information. Or you can DOWNLOAD, HERE.
And if you aren’t feelin’ the quote back, no worries! I have a blank program cover that you can use instead. Just use my ‘blank’ program cover. 🙂
Black and White
For those of you who like to do all the printing at the church…here are some Black and White Invitations and Program Covers! Just save the image below and edit it with your info.
For those of you wondering what fonts I used, here you go:
The font that I used on my ‘Save the Date’ card is called Freddy Regular, but I purchased it as a pack, and I can’t remember exactly where it came from. 🙂 But you could try using:
For my quote bubbles, I just used simple fonts that were easy to read:
And the cute book image that I used for my printables came from THIS Etsy shop!
WHAT IF I CAN’T EDIT THESE?
Last year I helped many people out by adding in the information for them for free. Unfortunately I will not be able to do that this year. If you would like help editing your Save the Date cards, Invites, or Program Covers OR if you would like me to make an alteration, you can contact me through my Etsy Shop, HERE.
I hope you enjoy my 2016 LDS Primary Program Invites and Program Covers! I would love to hear if you use them, so leave me a comment. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
