January is just around the corner, can you believe it!?! That means a new year for Primary, and another year of birthdays. Today I am sharing a fun Primary birthday gift idea that you could use for your Primary. Enjoy!
What gift could get better than this…a FULL-SIZE candy bar & a scripture marker! haha
This gift is so easy to put together, and it shouldn’t be too expensive. If you can find full-size candy bars on sale that’s even better or if you’re like our ward, and have the Manager of the local grocery store in your ward…you might be able to get your candy bars donated!
.
Here is a closer look at what the candy bar wrapper looks like.
Challenge the children in your primary to read their scriptures, and to ‘leave their mark’ by using the scripture marker pencil. As they read their scriptures they will receive ‘sweet’ blessings from our Heavenly Father.
Would you like to use my 2016 Candy Bar Wrappers for your Primary next year? Just print the wrapper out by clicking the link below. Once printed, cut out each wrapper and then wrap around your choice of candy bar. Slip a scripture marker inside or you could even use a colored pencil. Tape the back…and you’re done!

Primary Birthday Gift Idea: Another Idea!
If you would rather not give the Primary children a full-size candy bar, I’ve got you covered. Just fill a clear plastic baggie with some sweet treats, and attach this tag. Just print using the link below (there are 6 tags per sheet).
I didn’t have any baggies laying around, so I used a cute plastic box. Then I tied a colored pencil and the tag to the top.

Thank you for this great idea! I love the idea to pass out scripture markers. I’m hoping it gets them excited to read their scriptures and mark special verses.
Love the cute little box! Where can I buy those?
Hi Kristin! I found them on Pick Your Plum, but I haven’t seen them on there in awhile. 🙁 But I have seen them on Etsy. Just search ‘3X3 clear plastic box’ and you will see some. 🙂 Thanks!
Hello! I love this idea to use for Primary, but unfortunately, I am unable to download the full wrapper. Can you please help? 🙂
Thanks, Sarah! I sent you an email with the file. 🙂
Hello! I’m also having trouble downloading the file. Is there any way you can send it to me as well? Thanks!
Just sent it over and updated the links. 🙂
The previous presidency in my ward has been using these for birthdays but we are running out and I am so happy to find them so we can finish out the year.

Yay! I’m glad you found them as well. Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment. 🙂
These are so great! I want to use them but for Christmas gifts for our primary. Is there any way to change the happy birthday to merry Christmas?
Hi Devon! I think I can change it up so that it’s a little more ‘Christmas-sy’. 🙂 I will work on that this week, and email the file over or post it on the blog. Thanks!
You are simply the best!!!! I can’t thank you enough for sharing your talents and time!
Thank you so much, Devon. 🙂
