It’s Great to Be 8! LDS Baptism Preview Invitation & Printables

Do any of you hold a Baptism Preview for the Primary children turning 8? Maybe you’ve already been planning this meeting for a little while, and maybe you haven’t even begun. Well, today I am sharing a couple printables that you can use for your Baptism Preview. And they’re FREE! Today I will be sharing an invitation that you can use and a treat tag to use for refreshments. So keep on reading and take a look at the printables I’m sharing.

The first printable I am sharing today is this great invitation. I have left if blank so that you can fill in the info needed for your ward/branch.

You can find a post on how to edit the invites, HERE.Β It’s not hard, promise! πŸ™‚

Here’s a look at one I created…just to give you an idea.

Yep, there’s a typo. πŸ™‚ This is just an example of the invite. This phrase won’t be on the actual download.

The fonts I used are Champagnes & LimousinesΒ (a favorite of mine)Β & American Typewriter Condensed Light. And the ‘Great to be Eight’ font is Sketch Block.

The invite Β is a 5X7, but you can re-size it the the size you need. Below are the download links. I have a PDF version and a JPG version. If you are editing these in Word, you will need to download the JPG. Click the link, and then right click and save to your computer.

Feel free to comment or message me with any questions.

It’s Great to Be Eight! Donut Tags

I created these cute tags a couple years ago for my Son’s baptism. I decided to create the invite to match these cute tags.Β I’m sure you’ve seen the white donuts on a skewer.

It's Great to Be Eight Donut Tags

The idea is to create an ‘8’ with white donuts. Place 2 white donuts onto a skewer, then wrap it with cellophane. Tie it off with some curly ribbon and add a cute tag! Then place each of the donut sticks into a jar or cute container.

Since the tags only say “It’s Great to be 8” you could use them for any treat!

Just download ,print, and cut the tags out and you’re good to go.Β You can print the tags using the link below.

I hope you enjoy my printables that I have shared today, and are able to use them. I would love to hear if you do and how they turned out! So leave me a comment. πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.

Hi there! I absolutely love this!!! Thank you for creating this and sharing!
I have a question…for some reason when I click on the link to download the invite it doesn’t show the direct download in the corner so that I may download and edit. I was able to do it with your priesthood preview invite though. I would appreciate and tips and help you can give me. Again, thank you thank you thank you!! I am so grateful for amazingly creative people like you!

    1. Hi McKenna. Sorry about that. A year ago my site was hacked, and in the process a lot of my files and images were lost. I am still trying to get everything back to normal, but it takes time. I will fix the link and email it to you as well. Thanks!

      1. McKenna

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that! I actually was able to figure it out on another computer of mine, but thank you so much! I hope you are able to get things back to normal soon, again thank you for creating such wonderful resources for others!:) you are awesome!

  8. Sam

Thank you so much for sharing! So you are totally good with us using your design for our Great to be Eight program?

    1. Yes! I would LOVE for you to use it. 😊

  9. Amy Hunter

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with those of us who aren’t so creative but want to be! I especially appreciated the tutorial of how to change/add text to work for our preview. I always think “this shouldn’t be that hard” and then somehow I make it more difficult. So that was really helpful!
Do you have a program template to go along with this invite? If not I will try to make the invite into one πŸ™‚ Thank you again so much for sharing!

    1. You are so very welcome, Amy. I am so glad the tutorial was helpful and made it a little easier. I don’t have a program template. If you need help let me know and I can see if I have time to help you out. Good luck! πŸ™‚
