A few days ago I shared my cute Lip Balm birthday idea, HERE. But since lip balm is a little on the girly side, I told you that I would be sharing a more masculine birthday idea for those wonderful men in your life or serving in your Primary. Today, I am sharing my Jerky Birthday Balloons gift idea. It’s cute…but those great guys in your life will love it!
Aren’t those the greatest Jerky Birthday balloons you’ve ever seen? Most men could probably care less if they got balloons for their birthday, unless they are Jerky Birthday Balloons. 🙂 I found the idea on Dating Divas, HERE. We knew we wanted something for the men serving in our Primary, and had a few ideas. Once I saw these cute Jerky Balloons, I text a picture to our Primary President, and we both LOVED them. I think they go along great with our Balloon Lip Balm gifts that we will be giving to the women. What do you think?
Would the men in your Ward enjoy a Jerky Birthday Balloon? Maybe they’d like 2 or 3!?!
Jerky Birthday Balloons
Here is a list of what you’ll need to create your own Jerky Birthday Balloons!
-Jerky Sticks (Slim Jim’s work great)
-My Balloon Printables (2 pages available)
-My Jerky Balloon Tags (optional; 8 per sheet)
-String or Curly Ribbon
Begin by printing out my Birthday Balloon printables and the Jerky Birthday tags (download link below). Once you’ve got those printed, go ahead and cut them out.
Now you will attach the jerky sticks to the balloons. Make sure the jerky side is facing out, this helps it look more like the balloon string. 🙂
I did this using plain old scotch tape, nothing fancy. Just add two pieces of tape to the back of each balloon to make sure it’s stuck to the jerky, and you’re good to go!
Next, using some curly ribbon or some other type of string or twine, attach my Jerky Birthday Balloon tags to each stick of jerky. If you are giving more than one, then tie the tag around a few Jerky Birthday Balloons.
Since we’re using jerky, I wanted to come up with a cute jerky pun to put on the tag. Here’s a peek at the tag I created.
Love it! I thought it was pretty cute and funny.
I was able to fit 8 of these tags per sheet! AND I also included some without the “Primary Presidency” at the bottom for those of you that would like to give some Jerky Birthday Balloons to those special men in your life. 🙂
I’m excited to give these to the men in our Ward, and hope that they will enjoy them. What do you think of my Jerky Birthday Balloons? Would you like to give some to someone you know? Click the link(s) below to print out my Jerky Birthday Balloons printables.
I hope you enjoy my Jerky Birthday Balloons. I’d love to hear what you think, and if you use them. So leave me a comment. 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
