Hello friends! It has been quite a while since I last shared an idea/post. The last several months I have felt the need to take a pause and focus on some new things, and I did exactly that. I paused my email subscriptions and stopped posting to my website.
During these quiet months, I have been trying to figure out exactly what it was I needed to do. I felt prompted to make some changes, and I am excited to finally share what I have been working on. If you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, or are an email subscriber you may have already heard about this, but I thought I should share here as well.
For almost 10 years I have had my blog “Little LDS Ideas” where I have shared ideas and printables to make your calling and life a little easier. But life is not getting easier, Satan is not giving up. As I thought about this prompting and thoughts that I had, I thought about Satan and his army. How they are getting stronger. Their strategies are getting more cunning. And there are many who are losing this battle. As I thought about this I thought about my army. Who do I have on my side? Who have I enlisted to be a part of my army?
That’s when I thought about the opportunities available to us through technology to come together to uplift and empower one another.
Through technology, we can unite as strong righteous women. Are we perfect? No. Just like soldiers in an army we have to train and practice. It isn’t easy, but in the end, it is so worth it. As we come together and teach one another, stand with each other, we will grow stronger physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We will create relationships with like-minded women, and more importantly, with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
The space that I have had for almost 10 years will stay where it is. I will probably post every now and then, but I will now be focusing my time on my new website, Seek Christ Daily.
My vision for this new space is to become a space where we can share and help one another strive to seek Christ. In addition to this new space, I have teamed up with 4 amazing women to bring you the Seek Retreat. This is something that I have felt prompted to do for over a year but hadn’t had the courage or confidence to do.
The SEEK retreat will be a one-day event held on March 28, 2020, in Farmington, UT at Station Park. Our event will focus on seeking Christ in four areas: as individuals, in our families, in our marriage, and through service/callings. We just announced our main speakers and are so excited to have them join us for our first SEEK Retreat. Our Main Teachers include: Anthony Sweat (teaching on Seeking Christ Individually), Christy Kane (Seeking Christ in our Marriage), Silvia Allred (Seeking Christ as a Family), and Aleisha McDaniel (Seeking Christ Through Service/Callings).
In addition to our Main Classes, we will also have mini-classes where presenters will share specific ideas to help you SEEK Christ. We want you to go home with a game plan, with ideas and printables, tangible ways to apply the things you heard and learned that day. We have just added a blog to our website, and plan to create a Facebook group where we can share and discuss ideas. Where we can share successes and struggles with one another. This will be a space to support and to be real.
I am so so excited about this change and our event. It has been amazing seeing things fall into place as we have included our Heavenly Father in the planning of this event. If you’re interested in reading more about the event you can visit our website, here.

Growing Towards Christ
I wanted to share an amazing BYU Speech I recently listened to. Last week I listened to a BYU Speech while running errands link below. Sister Barbara Heise shared a wonderful talk on growing towards Christ. In her talk, she shared some of the trials that she has had to endure and how she was able to grow stronger in her trials. If you have some time I highly recommend her talk.
Sister Heise shared, “I have noticed that as individuals struggled with whatever was facing them, if they turned to Jesus Christ and trusted in Him, they were successful in finding the Savior, finding peace, and finding their way. The outcome may not have always been what they wanted, but one thing was certain: they grew stronger, more loving, more trusting, and more obedient and, filled with faith, they moved closer to the Savior.“
My hope with this new direction is to help, not only myself and my family but people all over the world, to seek Christ.
